About Mamta
Mamta has over 25 years working experience within Clinical Ophthalmic Optometry and practices as a Specialist Optometrist at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Mamta graduated from Cardiff, University of Wales in 1996 and went on to complete her professional qualifying year at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. She is now a Specialist Optometrist at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the Glaucoma and Urgent Care clinics.
In addition, she has extensive experience and advanced training in refracting (sight testing) patients pre- and post-refractive surgery. She is also highly skilled at assessing cataract and corneal surgery patients with many years of experience working with leading Consultant Ophthalmologists.
Mamta is an Independent Prescriber and has a Professional Certificate in Glaucoma. Alongside her busy clinic schedules, she is also working towards achieving a Masters qualification in Advanced Optometry and Ophthalmology at University College London.
Mamta is a caring specialist optometrist, passionate about understanding patient eye concerns and providing solutions to help combat long term ocular concerns. We are delighted that she is part of the Dry Eye Centre team.
