My eye was diagnosed with a meibomian gland dysfunction and had a severe dry eye. The ophthalmologist Mamta has given me IPL treatment for nearly two years. After the long term treatment, the problem of MGD is getting better, no styes found, no swollen eyes and I don’t need to take any antibiotics. I can finally see things very clearly now, it just feels normal. Mamta is very professional, caring and patient. She is always happy to listen and give me advice regarding my eye problems. So I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has dry eye problems.

I would highly recommend this centre to anyone suffering with chronic dry eye symptoms. My symptoms started in September last year and quickly went from bad to unbearable! I was misdiagnosed by an ophthalmologist who said I had blepharitis and put me on antibiotics and steroids. This did not help me in the slightest as the drugs were not addressing the route causes of my dry eye symptoms. I’m so so grateful that I visited this clinic. I have been under the care of Minakshi and Mamta and they have been a dream. I was properly diagnosed and I have been visiting every month for the past 6 months or so. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the team as my symptoms have improved drastically with my new routine and the treatments I have been given. I was in a completely depressed state at the beginning of the year and I am now feeling myself again for the first time in a really long time.

On day one, my dry eye was so severe discomfort was part of daily life and I was almost confined to wearing glasses as contact lenses were immensely painful. Fast forward two years – I was able to have laser eye surgery and dryness is minimal. I now only see Minakshi once a year for IPL and manage my day-to-day with lubricant drops. I’m pain and glasses-free, and I credit her for both. The moment you walk in you can tell you’re in the hands of a real expert – she cares about her patients, is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I can’t recommend Dry Eye Centre (specifically Minakshi Jain) highly enough! After trying the doctor, pharmacy, and even out-of-hours hospital, no one was able to help with the swelling in my 11-year-old son’s eye. The team here saw us quickly, were incredibly patient and kind with a nervous child, and most importantly, solved the problem straight away. They approached it in a number of ways, which gave my son immediate relief and made him feel so much more comfortable. Their professionalism, care, and clear explanations made such a difference — we’re so grateful!

When I visited Dry Eye Centre on July 16 2025, I had lost all hope for my eyes to ever fully recover. After undergoing LASIK in 2019 and FLAAK in March 2025, I was left with a debilitating dry eye condition, suffering from severe photophobia and all the associated symptoms. However, after just three IPL treatments with Dr. Minakshi, along with omega-3 supplements, moist heat compresses three times a week, blinking exercises, and all prescribed eye drops, 80% of my symptoms vanished. I regained my life back, and I am immensely grateful to the Centre and Dr. Minakshi. I also want to mention that OPTIMEL Manuka Forte Eye Gel was the best eye drop for me, even though it stings a bit upon application—it’s definitely worth it. Dr Trivedi has been amazing over the past year, and her IPL and associated treatments have completely transformed my dry eyes, and the way in which they affect me day-to-day. I have had very successful treatment at Dry Eye Center. Even after the first visit my painful, dry eye symptoms were alleviated. I have now had three IPL and red light treatments and my eyes are completely comfortable. Connan has looked after my eyes for the past 2 years and they are looking better again. I have suffered from blepharitis which didn’t respond to the usual treatments and I couldn’t get past NHS waiting lists. They are absolute specialists here and could see things in my scans that other Opthalmologists had missed.
Jo-Anna on reception is also amazing and been really helpful organising bookings, requests from my GP and managing my mood swings on bad days.

I met Mr Tam several years ago when I had a serious eye lid infection that was negatively impacting my quality of life. Despite seeing many other consultants over the years no one had managed to diagnose accurately or solve the complaint. Mr Tam identified the problem immediately and set about a programme of treatments that have resulted in a complete resolution of the complaint. I have found Mr Tam to be extremely professional and informative and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I have been attending Dry Eye Centre for a number of years due to my chronic blepharitis condition. I see Connan Tan each time. I find Connan is professional, knowledgeable, warm, friendly and reassuring. My condition has improved greatly since I have been his patient. My symptoms were constant swollen eyelids of which under his care and guidance have become more manageable. If I know of anyone else with similar symptom’s I would recommend Connan.

I first saw Connan Tam in 2023 after being diagnosed with Sjogren’s Disease. My optician advised that I had signs of dry eyes, gave me some drops but offered no further advice. I then saw Connan speaking on a dry eye webinar about IPL and made an appointment for a full assessment. Since then I have seen him regularly for treatment and invaluable advice on managing my condition. Last year he noticed that I had another eye problem which resulted in urgent surgery to help with a glaucoma risk and which hadn’t been noticed by my regular optician. The operation exacerbated my dry eyes but they are now well under control with Connan’s help.
