About Connan
Connan Tam has provided specialist eye care for over 20 years.
He specialised in paediatric eye care, binocular vision and contact lenses. He previously worked at St Thomas’ hospital treating complex eye conditions with specialist contact lenses. He was also a clinical lecturer in Orthoptics and Optometry at City University.
In 2013 Connan Tam was invited to develop Dry Eye Centre.
Mr Tam’s interest in dry eye comes from personal experience. After receiving eye surgery as a child he went on to develop severe dry eyes. Despite being a specialist Optometrist he has seen that there are still many inadequacies in the current care of dry eyes. He is passionate about improving treatments for dry eyes and on a personal level understands the impact it can have on our day to day life.
